Paul Sullivan

Paul Sullivan is a writer and photographer specialising in music, travel and culture. His words and images have been published in The Guardian, The Sunday Times and National Geographic Traveller UK, and he’s written, photographed and contributed to about 15 travel books(!). A Berlin resident since 2008, he runs popular website Slow Travel Berlin, which runs tours, organises events and publishes Berlin-themed books.

Top travel memory: "One of my favourite travel memories is a road trip back in 2004 with a photographer friend through the Southwestern part of the United States. We hired a car in Phoenix, Arizona and drove countless kilometres through Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and California, winding up in San Francisco a few weeks later. That trip was the point I really started to take photography seriously, and I will never forget those incredible landscapes, cultural sites and wonderful national parks."
