He has edited and published books on Brazil, Colombia and Peru, and is working on another – on Argentine music and culture, of course! When not working away in his office, he is plotting his next trip to Latin America.

Top travel memory: "Arriving in Brazil for the first time, where I couch-surfed in the middle of Lapa, not realising beforehand that this neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro was the epicentre of samba and street parties. The joy and fervour present during that first trip have miraculously been present on every trip since."
