Emma Vince

Emma Vince is a London-based journalist and the current editor of American Express Travel. She also writes about travel for Time Out London and blogs at Postcard Travel. When travelling, she can usually be found in the nearest sun spot, sipping coffee, petting stray cats and plotting novels. She's zip-lined through Costa Rican jungles, canoed through the backwaters of Kerala and has clocked up over 5,000 miles road-tripping across the US.

Favourite travel memory: "One of the the most surreal days I've ever had was during my second road trip in the US. I woke up for a breakfast at sunrise in a Yosemite campsite, had lunch in the sweltering midday heat in Death Valley and then ended the day with a dressed-up dinner and sundowners in Las Vegas."
